Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Quinn, Grand Saline. Entered the Army in 1942, trained at Camp Roberts and Ft. Ord, CA; served in Africa, Sicily and Italy. Awarded Bronze Star, eight Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.
